About me...

I´m Susanna Tuominen aka Suski. I´ve had rabbits since 1987 and been breeding
Netherland Dwarfs with the name Hops-Ontop´s since 1999. Hops-Ontop´s rabbitry
is located in Hyvinkää which is about 55 kilometers from our capital Helsinki.

I´ve been a board member of the Finnish Rabbit Association since the year 2002 and
In 2006 I was authorized as a Pet Judge by the Finnish Rabbit Association.
 

Viivi & Hops-Ontop´s Zonda*
 

In our family there is me, my husband and our 7-year old daughter Viivi.
She loves to help me around in the rabbitry. We also have a young
rottweiler female Woodweiler´s De La Rue and she has her own site :

The Hops-Ontop´s rabbitry has an automatic airchange system and is heated in winter
and cooled with aircondition in the summer when necessary. It also has a electronical
firealarm and security system. My little darlings live in a 37 hole rabbitry. The hutches
are larger for the breeding does and weaned litters. Stud bucks, show and young stock
live in smaller hutches. Dwarfs which enjoy exploring and hopping around have the
opportunity to run around the rabbitry and in the garden every now and then.

I´m specialized mainly in Si/Sables & Si/Smokes and Black Otters.
On the way I get a few Blue Otters, REWs, Agoutis and selfs. Litters are born
in every season. My aim is to breed Netherland Dwarfs having good character
and physical health and to meet the origin standard as perfectly as possible.
Breeding is my hobby and leftover stock is sold as pets to suitable homes. I´m very
precise with the type and nature, since everything else is easy to build on afterwards.
I try to use unique lines and stock for the best possible combinations.
