Shortly about .....

I´m Susanna Tuominen aka Suski. I´ve had rabbits since 1987 and been breeding Netherland Dwarfs with the name Hops-Ontop´s since 1999. Hops-Ontop´s rabbitry is located in Hyvinkää
 which is about 54 kilometers from the capital Helsinki.

I´ve been a board member of the Finnish Rabbit Association since 2002 and I´m also 
the director of our district club SKY-Uusimaa. In autumn 2006 I was authorized by the
Finnish Rabbit Association to judge pet class rabbits.
 

Viivi & Hops-Ontop´s Zonda*
 

In our family there is me, my husband and our soon 6 year old daughter Viivi. She loves to
help me around the rabbitry. Our family has also gained a new member, a rottweiler
female Woodweiler´s De La Rue.

The rabbitry has an automatic airchange system and is heated by winter and cooled
with aircondition when necessary. The optical firealarm will alarm in our house.
The rabbitry is also connected with our safety alarm system.

"My little darlings" live in a 28 hole rabbitry in wooden individual appartments.
The hutches are large for the breeding does and weaned litters, show and young rabbits
live in smaller hutches. The dwarfs who enjoy to explore and hop around get to run
around the rabbitry and in the garden on good weather every now and then.

I´m specialized mainly in Siamese Smoke Pearl and now working seriously with Otters.
On the way I´m also getting other colours such as other Sable variaties, Agouti, Opal,
Self Blue, REW etc.  Litters are born in every season. My aim is to breed Netherland
Dwarfs as pets and show rabbits having good temper and physical health and to meet the standard (according to the origin) as perfectly as possible. I´m very precise with the type
and temper, since everything else is easy to build on afterwards. I try to use unique lines
and rabbits for the best possible combinations.
